PET CREMATION 
The Orange Grove
Another service AWL offers is managing the loss of a beloved pet. We can provide a place of rest for your pet in the grounds of our West Hoxton Shelter.
The Orange Grove was consecrated in April 1997. Here, there is a place available for your pet's ashes to be interred in the niche wall or in the garden amongst the sights and smells he or she understood so well.
AWL’s service includes: the collection of the pet's body from the owners home or veterinarian, the cremation and the return of the ashes to AWL and interred in the niche wall or garden, sealed by a plaque inscribed with words of your choice. Farewell services can also be arranged to take place in The Orange Grove.
Many of AWL’s members and friends take the opportunity to lay their pets to rest in The Orange Grove where they can be assured their ashes are kept at peace and out of harms way - forever.
You may also choose to have your pets ashes interred in the gardens at Ingleside Shelter with the dedication of a tree or individual timber bench.
AWL believes that a memorial wall and garden is vital for companion animal owners who have been extremely attached to their pets. The Orange Grove helps bring a sense of closure and assist with the grieving process. Whatever your wishes, AWL understands your feelings as we have identical attachments to our own animals.
